i know in the hip hop culture there are thousands of Kanye West fans me being one of them. If you guys witnessed the 2009 MTV VMA awards there is no way your respect level for Ye could be the same. After winning best female video Taylor Swift was rudely interrupted during her thank you speech by Kanye West who felt like Beyonce should have been the rightful winnner. Taking the mic from Swift, Kanye then voiced his opinion."Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m [going to] let you finish — but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time". Left speech less was Unable to Finish her thank you speech.
Later in the evening, Beyonce who earlier that night stated if she could win any award of the night she would want to win VIDEO OF THE YEAR did just that. Beyonce winning the biggest award of the night took recognition in Taylor Swifts accomplishments and stated that winning her first VMA at 17 years old with Destinys Child was one of the most exciting moments in her life. She then let Taylor have her moment and asked for her to come on stage to finish her speech. Great show of class and respect.
oh and on a side note, wtf is going on wit lady gaga?!?
